Sweaters, Sweaters and More Sweaters continued........

Sweaters, Sweaters and More Sweaters continued........

I'm stuck.  I'm stuck on knitting sweaters.  I prefer to knit sweaters from the top down with very little seaming involved.  I can usually find tons of patterns for top down sweater patterns for infants and toddlers, but it's been a challenge for me to find Top Down patterns for children 4 years and older.

Well, I find such a pattern!  It's free, too!  Size: 6-12 mos (12-18 mos, 2 yrs, 4 yrs, 6 yrs, 8 yrs, 10 yrs)
Chest: 20 (22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32)" [51 (56, 61, 66, 71, 76, 81)cm]

I turned this:

(c) Willow Yarns

Into this:

I used Red Heart Soft yarn in Charcoal.  Size 8 yrs. Size 9 needles.  I didn't feel like fooling around with different colored yarns for the stripes.

Again...I need buttons.  I made this for my 4 YO grandson who's wearing a 5/6 right now and growing like a weed.

I also made the same sweater in size 2 yrs. for my 11-mon. grandson.

I used the leftover Red Heart Soft yarn in Charcoal & some leftover Red Heart Soft yarn in Chocolate.  (Buttons needed.)

My granddaughter has out grown the lavender sweater that I made for her last yr.  So, she's picked out this yarn for her new sweater.  This will be fun to knit!

I needed to take a break from the Hopscotch Cardi, so I CO this last night:

Berroco Comfort DK "Sprinkles"

Marianna's Famous Top-Down ~ with Sleeves

I'm using Berroco Comfort DK "Sprinkles" on Size 6 needles.

One of these days, I'll get around to knitting a sleeveless summer sweater for myself with this yarn.
