Knitting Related

So Christmas is over & Hubby usually gets me something knitting related for Christmas.  This year he did not.  He succumbed to pressure from family that I had enough "knitting stuff".  How ridiculous is that?

So...anywho...he encouraged me to get some more stuff.

I haven't knitted socks for a very long time, but when I saw this yarn, I had to get some.

It's called. "Christmas Confetti" from ArtisticYarn by Abi.  I've never used hand painted yarn before.  I'm so excited!

My package arrived today in this lovely floral postal bag,

and there were other goodies inside. (A surprise!)

(linen pouch)

Cute stitch markers

Yarn candy

And, of course, I had to have the proper tools in which to accomplish this sock knitting adventure.  I purchased some of my favorite needles for knitting socks or anything else for that matter.

Some Addi Turbo Sock Rockets, sizes 1, 2, & 3.  With 40-in. cables, perfect for knitting socks via Magic Loop.

And, a circular needle case, also made by Addi.

It's like a wallet & it's supposed to hold several needles in it.

Now, all I need is for my daughter to have some free time to help unwind the hank of yarn into a ball, so that I can get started with the sock knitting.

Beautiful yarn, Deb. Can't wait to see them finished. Deb, do you not have a yarn swift? You can make one with Tinker toys.
