Camo Baby Watchcap

A few years ago, my daughter had asked if I could knit a hat for her then fiancée, and she wanted to know if I  could knit in camouflage colors.  I found some Red Heart yarn that was just right thing.

Now with the new baby boy on the way, I decided to knit a baby watch cap in Camo, too.

It's a free pattern from the ThriftyKnitter.  I've knitted this cap several times before for both boys & girls.  It's super stretchy and it's a quick & easy knit.  I used size 8 DPNs for this one and worsted weight yarn.  I've also knitted it in sport weight yarn on size 7 needles.  I've done it on 2-Cirs or the Magic Loop technique.  It's my go-to pattern for baby hats.
