We're doing things a little different this year. No turkey thawing in my fridge. No celery and onion sauteing in a skillet for the stuffing. No smells of turkey roasting in the oven sending whiffs of smell good foods throughout the house. That's because my oldest daughter is hosting Thanksgiving dinner in her new home this year. She's so nervous and excited at the same time.
I'm not completely off the hook for the cooking and stuff. I made several pumpkin pies with the help of my youngest daughter to put the pies in and out of the oven. We also made homemade Chex Mix and Apple salad.
So, I have this Turkey Day Dishcloth for my oldest daughter.
Happy Thanksgiving! Stay safe.
