The Day After The Wedding and Knitting

It's the day after our daughter's wedding.  This was one of the happiest days, next to my wedding day and giving birth to her!
I love her more than she will ever know!

Everyone kept asking if I was nervous or if I was getting nervous or if I was under a lot of stress....uh, no, not really.

I did take time knit as much as possible....just a simple garter stitch baby jacket.  Fresh off of the needles.  Easy-peasy knitting.  The ends need tucked in & the sleeves need seamed, but I'll show it anyway.

The notch on sleeve

The sleeves have these notches, which I'm not too sure what to do with.  Do I sew the notches to the armhole, then sew the sleeves?  Or do I sew the seam to the sleeve, then work the notch.  It's been a long tine since I've done a baby sweater this way.  More details later.

Your daughter looks radiant!

I love the baby sweater and I can't wait till you share the details as I want to knit it to go with the baby hat I just finished if the weight yarn is the same.
