Take 2-The Pink Bamboo Yarn Sock

Almost as soon as I got done with the Chocolate Chip Mint Ice Cream Socks, (please see previous post.) I CO for another sock. It's call the Herringbone Lace Sock from Ann Budd's book: Getting Started Knitting Socks. Well, the original pattern called for US size 5 DPN & sport weight yarn. I wanted to knit these socks with a fine sock yarn and I had used guidelines in the book for substituting different weights & needles. I decided to use my Knit Picks US 1 & CO 60 sts for the pattern. It's a fun & fairly easy pattern and I was rather pleased at the progress that I was making.

Well, this will teach me to be so self-assured. It's a tad too tight. I don't know why I had waited so long before trying it on. Really....there wasn't an excuse. That's the sweet thing about knitting on 2-Cirs....really easy to try on. Sigh....

So.....I dug out the other skein of the Bamboo yarn & size 3 Knit Picks and started over.......

And...yes, I've tried this on. It's more comfortable.

Happy Knitting!
