A Small Sweater for a Fur Baby

I recently finished a light green dog sweater for my youngest DD best friend's dog, Charlie. Charlie is a sweet, lovable 4 1/2 lb Chihuahua.

This was a quick, fun easy knit. I used the dog sweater pattern from Bernat http://www.bernat.com/pattern.php?PID=199, but I skipped the pocket. I really didn't think that Charlie would mind not having it.

I altered the pattern a little to suit me & the receipt. I did a 2x2 ribbing for the neck instead of garter st.

This was first time using Vanna White's yarn. I think that it was a great choice. It is a very soft acrylic yarn & it shapes up very nicely.

A Couple of Dishcloths

I'm finally back into my knitting after experiencing a slight knitting slump. Here's a couple of dishcloths that I managed to finish. The first one is from the Mid-Aug. KAL.

This was a lot of fun, because this had the look of cables without all the fuss of cables.

This one is called the Eloomanator’s Diagonal Knit Dishcloth, which is variation of Grandma's Favorite. It's a little bit of a challenge, but it's easy to memorize once you get the hang of it.
