It's been a while since I've posted. May is a busy month in my family. My mom's B-day, Mother's Day, my B-day, then my youngest DD's B-day! Whew!
I've made a lot of progress on the hooded diagonal baby blanket. It seems like I have been working on it forever, but that's just the effect that straight garter stitch has on me. I just need to knit the hood & attach it, however, I've run out of yarn. Believe it or not, I under-shot the amt. of yarn that I thought that I would need for this project.
Oh my! You know what this means don't you? I means a trip out to the craft store for more yarn! I'm so looking forward to just getting out for a bit & to check out new yarn!
What is it about socks? I can't get enough of them! Yes, I was forewarned that they were addictive and they are! Sorry no pics for right now. That's the trouble with knitting so many different socks at the same time.....I don't have a pr. completed for show or for wear. I have a sock on DPN, a toe-up sock on the magic loop and a toe-up sock on 2-cirs! All different yarns & different patterns! Yes, variety is the spice of life & I've got a lot spice!
I thought that it was bad enough that I had so many knitting projects on my to do list, but now I need a separate list just for all the socks that I'd like to do in my life-time! My poor mom thinks that all I do now is knit socks! They are the ideal project for summer knitting.
