Stopping In to Say...I'm Still Here

I’m just stopping in to let my 360 friends know that I’m still here. I haven’t been knitting too much, because I’ve sort have been in a knitting funk. I really should be working on my white cardigan, but I can’t seem to get back into it. I have almost 1 sock completed that I’ve been doing on the Magic Loop. I’m knitting with my favorite sock yarn Sockotta. I’m using a strip pattern & I’m doing this sock in all knit, so I think I have set myself up for a little boredom.

I was scheduled for surgery on my foot at the beginning of the month, but due to circumstances beyond my control, my surgery got canceled. Now, I have to shop around for another Dr. that wants to deal with my particular foot situation, etc. And….I was all geared up to sit around and knit while recovering, too! This might have something to do with the state that I’m in too….the knitting funk, I mean.

Oh, well, it’ll all work out right in the end. In the meanwhile, I’m still waiting on my Harmony (wood) needles to arrive from Knit Picks, and I want to look for some sock yarn in brown & gold & blue colors. I wear a lot of this colors in the Fall & Winter. There’s a lot of sock yarn out there, but I’m having a hard time finding these colors. I can’t wear anything that has a lot of wool in it either, so it might be a challenge finding the right type of yarn, but I’m sure that my (sock) knitting friends will be able to point me in the right direction.

Glad to read that you are back on the Knitting Path. Hope those needles come in soon.
I hope you find a good doctor and get that foot surgery.
Take care.

Boy, do I understand knitting funks! Maybe the answer is to cast on for something small and fun? I've been doing alot of knitting lately, and while I have finished a few things, there are tons more I want to start! Good luck with the doctor/foot thing. I hope you can get your problem taken care of soon.
