Autumn Is Here!

Autumn is finally here. It's not my favorite season, neither is winter, but at least I've been enjoying wearing the socks that I have made. I've also been enjoying making some apple pies & apple crisp. There is a sort of contentment that comes from the aroma of baked goods floating through the house while knitting!

I'm working on stripe socks for my cousin. These are being done on the Magic Loop method, which I'm going to need some assistance from my

sock-knitting friends when it comes to working the heel, which will be soon. I finally got my 32" long cirs from Knit Picks and they're wonderful for the ML socks! Now...if only my Harmony (wood) needles would get here! I guess they'll arrive near the beginning of Nov. I can hardly wait!

My sister brought be the last of her veggies from her garden. This is all the bigger that her green peppers got. They're almost too cute to eat!

I envy you! Autumn *is* my favorite season, though here it's not much of a season. Right now, I'm still wearing sandals and short sleeves. How I wish it were wool socks and sweater weather!

Enjoy!

Deb, do you still need help with the socks and magic loop method. I've knitted quite a few pairs using that method and I love it. I'll have to check knitpicks for the 32" needles. Thanks! (I have some but could use more.)

I am looking forward to taking the class and hopefull learning how to knit socks. I love visiting blogs and seeing the socks they have knit. Have a great week.
